Ono Island is a private gated community in southern Baldwin County, Alabama.

The island is at the mouth of Perdido  Bay on the Gulf of Mexico and bordered by Bayou St. John to the north and Old River to the south.  Surrounding communities include Perdido Key, Florida to the east and Orange Beach, Alabama to the west.  Access to the island is by a private bridge owned by the Property Owners Association of Ono Island, Inc. about one mile west of the Alabama/Florida state line just off State Highway 182 also known as Perdido Beach Boulevard.  The community has about 900 single family homes, community center, private boat ramp and a Fire Station governed by an elected Board of Directors of the Association.
